EYSA is a volunteer run community organization. The goal of EYSA is to provide recreational opportunities for any child interested in soccer. There are no residency requirements.

The emphasis is placed on the development of each player over winning. Each player should receive equal playing time as much as possible, and should also experience playing at several different positions. Coaches have an obligation to exhibit excellent sportsmanship at all times in order to lead by example. Players should work hard and strive to improve their skills, but need to have fun! Parents should only cheer in a positive manner, and are encouraged to cheer for all players, regardless of which team.

EYSA relies on volunteers to coach, manage, and organize the league.
