Who is Edwardsburg Sports Complex, Inc.?
Edwardsburg Sports Complex, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) organization made up of area residents. Board members include representatives of Edwardsburg Rocket Football, Edwardsburg Youth Soccer Association, Edwardsburg Little League, Village of Edwardsburg, Ontwa Township, Cass County Commissioners, and at large members with significant professional expertise.

Are board members paid?
Absolutely not. All board members are volunteering their time and efforts to make the complex a reality. In fact, all board members are also donors.

Who is funding the project?
All of the funds raised to date have been private donations. Area businesses have made in-kind donations including construction, architecture, and engineering work.

What if someone cannot afford to play youth sports?
Edwardsburg Sports Complex, Inc. has a policy that no child will be turned away due to financial constraints. An endowment fund has been set up to provide scholarships to those who need it. Also, the individual youth sports organizations can continue to subsidize participants as they have in the past.

When will the complex open?
We are currently finalizing the plans with the engineering firm. It will most likely be the spring of 2010 before the fields are open.

Is Edwardsburg Public Schools affiliated with this project?
No. Edwardsburg Sports Complex, Inc. is a separate organization.

How can I help?
We need donors of all kinds. Please make a pledge to Edwardsburg Sports Complex, Inc. There are opportunities to name fields, score boards, concession stands, playgrouds, etc. after your family.
